Dani Carpenter

Meet Dani Carpenter (she/her) — Apprentice Body Piercer at Opalescent Studio! Dani has always been drawn to self-expression and how something as simple as new clothes or jewelry can completely change the way someone feels. That passion eventually led her to piercing, where she found the perfect balance between helping others and celebrating individuality.

Her journey into the industry began in 2019 as front of house, then advanced to jewelry specialist in 2021, and finally blossomed into her official apprenticeship in 2023. Through each step, Dani developed a love for curating one-of-a-kind looks, especially when anodizing titanium jewelry to add personalized color and flair. She takes pride in creating a comfortable, welcoming environment—whether it’s someone’s very first piercing or a carefully curated project—and guides each client with patience, professionalism, and care.

When she’s not honing her skills in the studio, Dani is a proud mom to a precious little girl and three cats who keep her busy and entertained. She’s also a creative soul who enjoys crafting—knitting and making pony bead bracelets and cuffs that she often gifts to clients. Her interests stretch far and wide, from Doctor Who and EDM, to flow arts, mehndi art, and cooking. And if you catch her on break, there’s a 99% chance she’ll be playing with her flowstar!

One of Dani’s favorite parts of her role at Opalescent Studio is working with children and teens. As a big kid at heart, she feels honored to help create core memories for both the child and their parents during milestone piercings. Her goal is always to combine kindness with professionalism, ensuring that every piercing experience is just as memorable as the jewelry itself.
