Michelle Taylor

Meet Michelle Taylor (she/her) — Better known as Our Shop Mom. She is one of the Front of House team members and Friendly faces you’ll see welcoming you through the doors at Opalescent Studio. With over 25 years of experience in office management, Michelle brings organization, dedication, and heart to everything she does, both in the shop and behind the scenes. Needless to say, she’s the Backbone that helps Keep Us All in Line, while also providing 24/7 on-call support for Harmony and the shop.

Outside of the studio, She is a Loving Wife to Roger, Proud Mom, and the Best Mimi to our favorite little man—as well as nine more wonderful grandchildren through marriage and partnership. She most cherishes the time spent with her loved ones, and enjoys sharing life’s important moments on Facebook and Instagram. If you’re around, don’t be surprised when she’s snapping 📸 those great—and not-so-flattering—candid moments 😅.

Although Michelle is newer to the piercing industry, she has loved watching her daughter build and succeed in her piercing career.
